1. Who we are

The Mentors Circle (“TMC”, “we”, “us”) is an overseas education consultancy founded in 2014 and headquartered at Wave One Tower, Sector 18, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect about you when you use our website noida.thementorscircle.com, how we use it, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. Data we collect

When you fill in our enquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and mobile number
  • Your preferred study destination and intake
  • Any message you choose to share with us
  • Marketing attribution data (UTM parameters, referring URL, landing page)
  • Technical data (user agent, approximate country, a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP — we do not store the raw IP)

We also use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and ad performance (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) only if you accept them on our cookie banner.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and schedule a free counselling call
  • To send you information about study-abroad opportunities you have requested
  • To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns
  • To protect our website from spam and abuse

We process your data on the legal basis of your explicit consent, which you provide by checking the consent box on the form.

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the service providers required to operate this website: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (spam protection and DNS), Vercel (web hosting), and — if you accept cookies — Google LLC (analytics, ads) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (pixel). We never sell your data.

5. Where it is stored & retention

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure that may process data outside India for the purposes of hosting and analytics. We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Consent audit records are retained for 5 years to demonstrate compliance with the DPDP Act.

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, by emailing us
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer

To exercise any of these rights, email info@thementorscircle.com with the subject line “DPDP request”. We’ll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use TLS/HTTPS on every page, encrypt data at rest in our database, hash your IP before storing it, and restrict access to customer data to the minimum number of TMC staff needed to respond to your enquiry.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email if you are an active lead.
